The session to elect new members of the State Executive Committee (CEE) of Morena will take place at 9:00 am at the Puebla Convention Center. According to the call, only Puebla counselors can nominate or be nominated, although there are provisions for unforeseen situations. For example, the National Executive Committee of Morena could appoint a delegate to act as leader in the entity if necessary, according to Article 38 of the party statutes.
In addition to the leadership, other vacant positions will be renewed following the assumption of the elected governor, Alejandro Armenta Mier. These include the Secretariat of Organization and leadership, currently held by Samuel Aguilar Pala, who will join Armenta's administration. Meanwhile, Olga Romero will lead the Decentralized Public Organization (DPO) Toll Roads, and Samuel Aguilar will be the next Secretary of Government.
In this context, Céspedes Peregrina emphasized the importance of the Morena leadership renewal process being democratic and inclusive, highlighting the capacity of women and maintaining a respectful stance towards the diversity of party members. An extraordinary session scheduled for November 16 will allow the election of new members of the CEE of Morena, who will complete the current term until 2025, coinciding with the start of Olga Romero Garci-Crespo's mandate. The presence of a representative from the National Commission of Elections of Morena during the voting has been assured to guarantee the transparency and certainty of the electoral process.
