Puebla managed to convince Julio González with a contract for three and a half years, as well as offering him an attractive salary. The goalkeeper was officially presented with a welcoming message on the club's social media, expressing gratitude for his three-season spell at his former team, Pumas.
In the midst of the transfer operation, it was mentioned that the leaders of the locker room negotiated the bonuses for the season with the management, where it was agreed that the starters would receive higher compensation than the substitutes. Given this situation, both goalkeepers, including González, were set aside by Pumas and began to seek new options.
