Senator Agustín Dorantes opened new Friend Houses in the municipalities of Corregidora and Querétaro as part of his initiative to bring the Senate closer to the people of Querétaro and extend the management of public services and programs to the local community.
During the inauguration of the houses in the Santa Sofía neighborhood in Corregidora, Prados del Campestre, and Cimatario in Querétaro, Dorantes thanked the volunteer hosts and shared information about his work in the Senate, including the implementation of the Unidos Rate in San Juan del Río and the water system in Pinal de Amoles, as well as his commitment to safety and the repair of Highway 57.
In a meeting with neighbors from the San Pablo neighborhood in Querétaro, the senator recalled his previous efforts to improve roads, water, and drainage networks in the region, reiterating his commitment to listen to and follow up on the community's concerns.
Dorantes emphasized the importance of maintaining fluid communication with citizens: "One is worth what their word is worth; there are facts and results showing that I am a person of my word." He concluded that working together with the community and other local stakeholders will allow for faster progress in solving problems.
