The municipality of Querétaro launches the "Historic Center" operation to regulate commerce and eliminate street vendor activity, ensuring public pathways free of obstacles and improving pedestrian traffic.

The municipality of Querétaro launched the "Historic Center" operation as part of the "Order Plan" to regulate commerce in the city center and eradicate street vending. Juan Carlos Arreguín, Technical Secretary of the Secretariat of Government, highlighted the importance of this action during the roll call.

"Today we start in a much more vigorous manner an operation to ensure that our Historic Center is free of street vendors. That is the commitment of the Municipal President and we will fulfill it," said Arreguín.

The operation will involve the participation of various agencies, including the Secretariat of Government, Municipal Inspection, Secretariat of Mobility, Municipal DIF System, Civil Protection, and Municipal Public Safety. The main objective is to ensure that public roads are clear of obstacles, thus facilitating pedestrian traffic in this iconic area of Querétaro.
