The sixth run came in the seventh inning, with a double by Gutiérrez that moved Gracial. Paolo Espino recovered from a shaky start and pitched five innings, allowing seven hits and two runs, issuing two walks and striking out two, to earn his first victory of the season. The Querétaro team took advantage of the early stages of the game to gain a lead they would not lose, along with a solid performance from Panamanian pitcher Paolo Espino.

From the first inning, the Conspirators had two outs, Leonys Martín hit a single, followed by a hit from Yurisbel Gracial that, with a hit-and-run play, helped Martín score the first run. In the second inning, Kelvin Gutiérrez and Luis Sardiñas reached base, and Arturo Rodríguez drove in another run with a single. The Conspirators started their series against the Olmecas de Tabasco on the right foot, winning 6-2 at the Estadio Centenario.

The third inning was impactful, with a hit-by-pitch to Martín, a hit from Gracial, and a three-run home run by Edwin Espinal, making the score 5-0. The second game will take place this Wednesday at 19:30, with Freddy Quintero on the mound for Querétaro and José Samayoa for Tabasco. The Olmecas' starter, Adrián Almeida, took the loss. For the home team, Abraham Almonte and Roy Morales scored the only two runs in the second and third innings, respectively. However, the Tabasco offense could not overcome the initial deficit.

With this result, the Querétaro team takes the lead in the series.
