Celebration of Mexican Army Day in Rayón

The Governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez Álvarez, led the commemoration of the 112th anniversary of Mexican Army Day, highlighting the role of the armed forces and recognizing their contributions to peace and security.


Celebration of Mexican Army Day in Rayón

The 112th Anniversary of the Mexican Army Day was commemorated by the Governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez Álvarez, at an event where recognitions were awarded to outstanding members of the Armed Forces. This celebration remembers the creation of the Constitutional Army in 1913, during the Mexican Revolution, and highlights the bravery and sacrifice of the Armed Forces in preserving order and peace in Mexico.

Colonel Medical Surgeon Luz María Aguilar Anguiano was the keynote speaker, emphasizing the role of women in the Army and their contribution to intelligence operations and service to the people. Aguilar Anguiano underscored the importance of gender equality in the institution and the benefits it brings to it.

Some of the recognitions were awarded to outstanding members such as Lieutenant Vianey Itzayana Moreno Campos, Auxiliary Corporal Anayeli Estrada Rodríguez, Sergeant Saudy Zareth Hernández Márquez, among others. Additionally, Retired Brigadier General Efraín Sánchez Velazco was recognized for his commitment to the Mexican Army and Maestro Mateo Humberto Rodríguez Suárez for his interinstitutional collaboration.

Various authorities were present at the event, including Fernando Díaz Juárez, President of the Superior Court of Justice of the State of Mexico, and the Commander of the First Military Region, Major General Francisco Jesús Leana Ojeda, among others. Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez thanked the Armed Forces for their work in favor of a peaceful and prosperous State of Mexico and recognized the daily efforts they put in for the country.
