112th Anniversary of the Mexican Army Celebrated

Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez commemorated the 112th Anniversary of the Mexican Army in Rayón, acknowledging their vital role in restoring constitutional order during the Mexican Revolution. The event emphasized gender equality within the armed forces and recognized outstanding military personnel.


112th Anniversary of the Mexican Army Celebrated

Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez commemorated the Day of the Mexican Army on its 112th Anniversary. This day celebrates the creation of the Constitutional Army in 1913, highlighting its importance in the Mexican Revolution and its fundamental role in restoring the constitutional order of the country. The bravery, sacrifice, and work of the Armed Forces were emphasized, as well as their participation in times of disaster and in maintaining peace and order.

At the facilities of the 22nd Military Zone, the Governor thanked the Armed Forces for their efforts in favor of a safe and prosperous State of Mexico. Colonel Medical Surgeon Luz María Aguilar Anguiano was the keynote speaker, highlighting the importance of celebrating the role of women within the Army, leading intelligence operations and serving the people.

At the event, recognitions were awarded to outstanding members of the Armed Forces, including women who excel in different areas. Gender equality was emphasized as a principle that strengthens the Army, highlighting that the female presence is the result of effort, discipline, and capability. Lieutenant Vianey Itzayana Moreno Campos and other individuals received honors for their exemplary performance.

The Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace preceded this commemoration, where the Governor expressed pride and gratitude for the support of the Armed Forces in the State of Mexico. The daily hard work of Army members for the benefit of the nation was recognized.
