
The company Hospitales Mac plans to invest more than one billion pesos for the construction of a hospital complex in Saltillo, Coahuila. This project will create 350 direct jobs in the region and raise the total number of hospitals of the company to 25.
Miguel Khoury, founder, CEO, and president of Hospitales MAC, emphasized the company's commitment to expanding access to quality healthcare services in Mexico. According to him, the opening of the new hospital in Saltillo not only supports that mission but also contributes to local economic development.
The hospital complex in Saltillo will cover around 40,000 square meters of construction and will be equipped with modern facilities. It will have 40 inpatient rooms, 5 state-of-the-art operating rooms, an intensive care unit with 10 beds, and 257 offices for medical specialists in various areas of medicine.
In addition to the mentioned spaces, the hospital will offer auxiliary and diagnostic services, such as nuclear medicine, oncology center, catheterization room, short-stay operating rooms, intensive therapies, radiology, laboratory, hemodialysis, and neonatal intensive care, among others.
In 2023, Hospitales Mac reported sales worth 4.4 billion pesos, consolidating its position in the healthcare sector in Mexico.
