Strengthening Binational Support for Tecate's Firefighters

The state coordinator of social and political management of CTM Baja California, Erika Enciso Limón, shared details about the work of her organization in the state. She emphasized the importance of managing donations for the firefighters of Tecate, as well as other supports in civil protection for various municipalities. She highlighted that communication with local and state authorities has been fundamental to the project's success.

In a different area, a project has been initiated in public works as a way to support allied municipalities in Mexico. Thanks to various partnerships with civil organizations in the United States, it has been possible to coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment necessary to improve emergency response capacity.

Violeta Gutiérrez, president of Firefighters No Limits, has become a key ally in these efforts. She explained that this is the fourth donation made, this time directed to Tecate, after previous collaborations with San Quintín and San Felipe. She highlighted the logistical challenges overcome and the importance of this binational collaboration to ensure the timely delivery of aid.

The initiative is not only limited to equipment for firefighters but is also exploring the possibility of supporting areas such as health and public safety. Through close coordination with local and state authorities, the aim is to identify and address the most urgent needs in different regions.

CTM Baja California's commitment is to improve the quality of life for its members and the community in general. With the support of the federal government, support programs are being expanded in different sectors and collaboration is being extended to other municipalities in the state. It is expected that upcoming decisions at the national level will set the direction for future activities.

Logistical and administrative challenges have not prevented these donations from taking place. Although crossing materials may be complicated, cooperation among different entities has facilitated the process. The intention is to continue diversifying the types of support, expanding the scope of donations to cover more areas of need in Baja California.

In summary, the work of CTM Baja California focuses on strengthening the quality of life for workers and the community in general in the region. Through partnerships both in Mexico and the United States, vital support is being managed and delivered to different municipalities, with the intention of continuing to expand aid programs in key areas such as civil protection, public works, and health.
