The ambassador of Palestine in Mexico, Nadya Rasheed, is scheduled to visit Tepic next Sunday, January 26, with the purpose of holding a cultural meeting with the citizens of Nayarit. The committee "Nayarit Solidarity with Palestine" is in charge of organizing this activity, in which academic, cultural, and political movements will participate.
Before the arrival of the ambassador, there will be promotional and informational activities about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The main event will take place on Sunday, the 26th, at the pergola in the main square of Tepic at 4:00 PM, where the ambassador will share a message to promote the construction of "bridges of hope, justice, and dignity," emphasizing the importance of solidarity among peoples.
Additionally, during the day, the committee will hold an artistic-cultural event organized by the Polytechnic University of Nayarit (UPMS). Although authorities from various levels of government in the region were invited to participate in these activities, the organizing committee has not yet revealed the list of officials who confirmed their attendance, although the presence of some collaborating legislators is expected.
The objective of the committee "Nayarit Solidarity with Palestine" is to make visible the fight for freedom and raise awareness about injustices, highlighting that solidarity is a powerful weapon from any corner of the world.
