On Wednesday night in the Hacienda Santa Fe neighborhood in Tlajomulco, a collision occurred between a motorcycle and a vehicle, resulting in the tragic death of a 14-year-old girl who was accompanying the motorcyclist.
According to the Tlajomulco de Zuñiga Police, the accident happened around 8:00 PM at the intersection of Hacienda street and Boulevard Santa Fe. In a video circulating on social media, the driver of a gray compact car is seen trying to cross a road when the motorcycle, traveling at high speed, crashes into the car, causing both occupants of the motorcycle to fall.
Paramedics from the Municipal Medical Services arrived at the scene and confirmed the death of the young girl, while the motorcyclist, who suffered serious injuries, was taken to Cruz Verde La Concha for medical attention.
Relatives of the adolescent arrived at the site and, according to witnesses, attempted to assault the driver of the car. Authorities intervened and detained the driver for protection. The first responders were members of the National Guard, who informed the Public Prosecutor's Office about the incident, with the latter being responsible for determining the responsibilities of the event.
