The Government of Tlaquepaque will start the Health Fairs on Wednesday, November 20, in different delegations and communities, beginning in Santa Anita. The main objective is to bring basic and quality health services, as well as preventive information, closer to Tlaquepaque families for free.
The director of public health of the City Council, Mario Arturo Salinas Hernández, detailed that services such as general medical attention, psychological consultations, dental care, and nutritional advice will be offered. There will also be a vaccination module providing key vaccines for the cold season, such as COVID, influenza, and completing the vaccination schedule for children.
Additionally, attendees will have access to preventive information through the Municipal Committee for AIDS Prevention (COMUSIDA), where rapid tests for HIV, Hepatitis C, and Syphilis will be conducted. Mammograms will also be carried out, thus addressing the needs of the most vulnerable population in the municipality.
Other organizations such as the DIF Welfare System, Animal Health, with the application of rabies vaccines, and a legal area to provide specialized and legal advice, will also be present at these Health Fairs.
The first fair will take place in the delegation of Santa Anita, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and will be repeated every Wednesday in different delegations and neighborhoods of the municipality.
