According to authorities, the aircraft was a private Cessna Citation III that took off hours before the incident in Acapulco, on the coast of Guerrero.

In the municipality of San Pedro Totoltepec, authorities and firefighters from Toluca, Metepec, San Mateo, Atenco, and representatives of federal offices, such as the Secretariat of Communications and Transport, the National Guard, security forces, and Civil Protection, are working.

Civil Protection authorities of the State of Mexico confirmed that, so far, seven people have died out of the ten who were on the plane, so the death toll could increase in the coming hours.

Regarding the aviation incident in San Pedro Totoltepec, Toluca, it is reported that the fire has been controlled and cooling and removal work is being carried out.

The causes of the disaster, which occurred almost six kilometers from Toluca International Airport, are currently unknown.
