
The government of Teacher Delfina Gómez Álvarez aims to strengthen the Secretariat of Security of the State of Mexico through the delivery of high-technology equipment and vehicles. In this regard, 213 official units have been assigned, of which 13 are armored, 10 of which will be assigned to the Tactical Groups Coordination and 3 to the Traffic Department. These new trucks come with different levels of armor, from level three to level five, including opaque and transparent armor, side ports in Roll Bar, police turret, siren, radio repeater, megaphone, and all-terrain design. Additionally, the units are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, such as a turret with 228 flash patterns, an electronic siren of 100/200 watts, a next-generation lighting system, mobile radio, video recorder, GPS module, among others. On the other hand, more than 23,500 elements of the Secretariat of Security of the State of Mexico will receive a salary reevaluation, which had not been conducted since 2018. This salary adjustment will apply to different levels, highlighting the categories of police, custody, and procedural police. Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez emphasized the importance of having well-equipped and well-paid personnel to eradicate acts of corruption and promote social justice. Additionally, further equipment was provided to active personnel, such as helmets with sound suppression, ballistic vests with MOLLE system, medical kits, breaching material, and high-quality weapons. The goal is to safeguard the integrity and improve the working conditions of security agents in the State of Mexico.
