The mayor of Uruapan, Grecia Quiroz, was visiting the Senate when she was surrounded by senators from the MORENA party. They began chanting the name of Raúl Morón, whom the mayor had asked to be investigated for his possible involvement in the murder of her husband, Mayor Carlos Manzo. Mayor Quiroz described this act as 'political grandstanding'. She stated that when a person has a clear conscience, they don't need external support. She also mentioned that her actions could be considered sexist, but she was only requesting an investigation based on 11 provided videos. At the end of her statement, she again shouted: 'Morón!'
