Jalisco Delivers Life Pulses to Searchers

The Secretariat of Intelligence and Search for Persons through the State Coordination of Security of Jalisco, at the initiative of the State Government, will deliver 100 "Life Pulses" devices to searchers of missing persons with the aim of reducing the risk of violence and homicides towards those who carry out this work. This technological device, activated in less than 6 minutes, allows patrols to reach the location of the bearer in case of emergency. Previously, it has been provided to women in situations of risk due to violence.

In a press conference, the head of the Secretariat of Intelligence and Search for Persons, Edna Montoya, announced that the distribution of the "Life Pulse" devices has already begun. So far, 29 devices have been assigned to members of search groups and independent searchers in municipalities such as Zapopan and Lagos de Moreno. Of these devices, 24 have been delivered to members of collectives, four to representatives of the same, and one to an independent searcher.

The objective of delivering these devices is to provide a rapid response in risky situations for those searching for missing persons. Specialized training is also being offered to users of the devices to ensure their proper use and maximize their benefits in case of facing any dangerous situations.

The "Life Pulses" are connected to the C4 and C5 monitoring systems of the Urban Shield, which allows them to emit alerts in real-time. Coordinator Edna Montoya emphasized the importance of users receiving the appropriate training to understand the functioning of the device and know how to act in critical moments. The devices will be constantly monitored through the C4 and C5 command centers to ensure an immediate response to any emergency.
