100,000 Jobs for Repatriated Mexicans Announced

In light of the massive deportations of nationals from the United States, driven by the administration of President Donald Trump, the private sector in Mexico announced the creation of 100,000 immediate jobs for repatriated Mexicans.

Armando Zúñiga Salines, president of the United Security Groups for Mexico (ASUME), highlighted that private security companies in Mexico represent about 2% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and provide employment to around one million people. He assured that the private security industry has the capacity and commitment to support those returning to the country to offer them a dignified future.

The companies affiliated with ASUME committed to providing immediate employment to 100,000 Mexicans repatriated from the United States. Zúñiga Salines stated, "We are convinced that private security is a driver of social development and we assume our responsibility to contribute to the well-being of Mexican families."

In addition to formal employment, repatriated individuals will receive certified training, which will enhance their job opportunities. The ASUME leader emphasized that they are already working in coordination with Mexican authorities to ensure decent working conditions, certified training, and development opportunities in various regions of the country.

Zúñiga Salines stressed the private sector's commitment to public safety, highlighting that the promotion of employment and the integration of repatriated individuals also strengthen social peace and economic development in Mexico. The private security sector is shaping up as a strategic ally of the state in terms of security and a pillar for the pacification of the country.
