The Government of Nuevo León, in collaboration with various agencies such as the Secretariat of Health, the State Institute of Women, the Secretariat of Citizen Participation, the Secretariat of the Environment, and the Secretariat of Mobility and Urban Planning, has achieved significant progress in the Burocracia CERO initiative. This initiative aims primarily to eliminate obstacles to social and economic development by simplifying and digitizing procedures, significantly reducing the time and requirements needed.
In an effort to consolidate this initiative, citizens are invited to participate in the First Survey of Identification of Regulatory Obstacles, where proposals for amendments to state regulations will be collected. Through the portal www.nl.gob.mx/burocraciacero, interested parties can submit their suggestions for improvement, thus contributing to the efficiency of government services.
Mariela Saldivar Villalobos, who leads the State Commission for Regulatory Improvement (CEMER), highlighted the commitment of the Government of Nuevo León to eliminate at least 30% of state procedures, simplifying and digitizing them through technological tools. So far, 38 procedures have been eliminated, representing almost 5% of the total state processes and services.
"The commitment of the Government of Nuevo León is towards the end of the six-year term to eliminate at least 30 percent of state procedures and those procedures that we need to maintain because they serve a function, we commit to simplifying them and digitizing them through technological tools," said Saldivar Villalobos.
The main objectives of Burocracia CERO are the elimination of unnecessary regulatory obstacles, the simplification and digitization of essential procedures, reducing the required time by up to 80% and the requirements by 30%. This progress represents the beginning of a constant commitment to transforming the relationship between citizens and public institutions, ensuring a more efficient and satisfactory experience for all involved.
