Scholarships for Graduate Studies in Mexico

An important educational organization is offering a certificate endorsed by the SEP and a European degree with curricular value. The deadline to apply for scholarships began on January 9 and ends on March 10, 2025, for UNIR scholarships; while for UNIR scholarships in Mexico and Newman Graduate School, the deadline goes from January 20 to March 20, 2025. The selected applicants will be announced starting April 14.

Banco Santander Mexico will provide 200,000 scholarships and courses in 2025 in the country, worth 131 million pesos, a record amount in its 20 years of continuous support for education. Applications were open from December 20 to March 31, 2025.

Studying for a university degree in Mexico involves challenges beyond the academic, especially regarding costs, which can range from 48,000 to 130,000 pesos per school year. In this regard, various international organizations offer financial support, places for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as special online learning programs.

The General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (SG/OAS) and the European University have launched a scholarship program for online postgraduate studies, with academic discounts. There will be 60 scholarships offered in 30 programs in areas such as engineering, business, environment, education, and design, covering 50% of the total cost of the online master's degree for nationals or residents of Mexico.

On the other hand, the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science, and Culture (OEI) and the International University of La Rioja (UNIR)-Proeduca have made available 440 scholarships for official master's degrees, proprietary degrees, and specialization courses online, in Spanish. Interested parties must meet certain conditions and have completed the admission process in the study program of one of the participating institutions.
