The Secretary of the Interior, Rosa Icela Rodríguez, has reached an agreement with 70 companies to facilitate the hiring of repatriated individuals, promoting their labor inclusion in Mexico.

The Secretary of the Interior, Rosa Icela Rodríguez, has reached an agreement with representatives from nearly 70 multinational and American companies to join the Labor Inclusion Program for Repatriates. By participating in this program, the industries have committed to facilitating the hiring of people who are being deported from the United States.

"I have been surprised by the commitment, by the capacity, by the eloquence with which they have said, ‘We commit for Mexico; we commit for our repatriated compatriots.' How can one not be moved, right?" expressed Rodríguez. "Usually, it is the Government that puts things on the table, but this time a group of committed Mexicans, led by the president of the Business Coordinating Council, Paco Cervantes, and Roberto, Pepe, Miguel... I congratulate this initiative and, of course, the government of Claudia Sheinbaum welcomes it".

For his part, the president of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), Francisco Cervantes, stated: "Mexican entrepreneurs have the purpose of bringing job opportunities to those returning to our country, so they can continue with certainty and dignity their life project". He added: "We entrepreneurs will make our greatest effort to be able to take advantage of the experience our compatriots have had in various branches of industry, manufacturing, agriculture, and other services".

The event was attended by representatives from Concamin, the Association of Banks, National Chambers of Commerce; Coparmex, the National Agricultural Council; the National Association of Self-Service Stores, ANTAD; AmCham and Femsa. They highlighted the importance of this collaboration and initiative that arose from the Mexican business community, greeting this joint effort to support repatriates in their labor reintegration.
