Sinaloa Achieves Transparency in Public Finances

The governor of Sinaloa, Rubén Rocha Moya, emphasized the transparency and efficiency in the management of public resources of his administration. Sinaloa ranks as the 5th state nationwide with the least amount to clarify in the federal audit conducted by the Superior Audit Office of the Federation. Out of a total of 63 billion 350 million pesos audited, only six observations were made for the state, representing only 0.02% of the total audited, highlighting the efficient and honest management of public funds.

Among the observed funds are 700,000 pesos allocated to FASA (Health), 8.47 million pesos to FASP (Public Security), 1.6 million pesos to U06 (Polytechnic University of Sinaloa), and 1.08 million pesos to U013 (Health). Sinaloa stands out as a national reference in the responsible management of public resources, ensuring that every peso invested directly benefits the population.

The governor stated: "We will soon be at zero observations, at the level of Mexico City and Querétaro." The Secretary of Finance, Joaquín Landeros Guicho, highlighted that the ASF has recognized the efficient and clear management of resources in the entity and that they are working together with the Transparency Secretariat to ensure the proper verification and auditing of every expenditure.

The commitment of the Government of Sinaloa is to achieve zero observations in the short term, consolidating an honest and efficient administration aligned with the principles of the Fourth Transformation.
