The governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García Sepúlveda, participated in a commemorative event for the 70th anniversary of the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry (CMIC), where he highlighted the importance of collaboration between the government and the private sector for infrastructure development in the region. In this context, he expressed his commitment to completing key works such as the Water Park and the Metrorrey Lines, among other projects.

During his speech, the governor announced that he would soon take a tour of the new Water Park, which he considers to be his legacy in the area, comparing its size to Fundidora and describing it as a vibrant space connected to Cerro de la Silla. He emphasized the importance of this project for Nuevo León and mentioned other public work plans underway, such as the Interserrana Highway and the construction of a new Children's Hospital.

During the event, the president of CMIC, Roberto Macías Quintanilla, praised García Sepúlveda, calling him "the governor of infrastructure." The work of CMIC throughout its history and its contribution to the development of the state were also recognized, as well as the importance of maintaining high-quality standards in completed works.

Furthermore, Luis Méndez, national leader of CMIC, expressed the commitment of the construction union to Mexico's future and regional development, acknowledging the governor's leadership and the relevance of infrastructure investments for the local economy. The importance of obtaining federal support for projects like the Interserrana Highway was mentioned, which is one of the priority projects in the region with a view towards the FIFA World Cup 2026.
