
During the fourth quarter of last year, net sales of Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte (OMA) reached four billion 15 million pesos (mdp), showing an increase of 10.9% compared to the same period of the previous year. Additionally, the company's adjusted operating income was two thousand 433 mdp, which represented an increase of 7.9% compared to the previous year.
Passenger traffic in the mentioned quarter increased by 4.6% compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching a total of 7.1 million passengers. Airports that experienced the highest traffic growth include Monterrey, Acapulco, Mazatlán, Durango, and San Luis Potosí.
During the last quarter of last year, capital investments and major maintenance works, as well as committed strategic investments, totaled 951 mdp. Of this amount, 816 mdp were allocated to improvements in concessioned assets, 63 mdp for major maintenance, 68 mdp for strategic investments, and four mdp for other concepts.
Regarding operations, OMA reported that seat offer increased by 3.3% compared to the same period of the previous year. During that quarter, 28 routes were launched, of which 12 were domestic and 16 international. The total passenger traffic reached 7.1 million, with an increase of 4.6% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The passenger mix in the quarter was 84.9% domestic and 15.1% international. In annual terms, domestic passenger traffic increased by 1.5%, while international passenger traffic increased by 26.4%.
