President Claudia Sheinbaum announced that this Thursday she will sign a voluntary agreement with gas station businessmen to control fuel prices in Mexico. The initial duration of this agreement will be six months.
During her morning conference, Sheinbaum mentioned that she will meet with sector representatives at 11:00 AM to formalize this commitment. The Secretary of Energy, Luz Elena González, received recognition for her work in coordinating these efforts.
