The Ministry of Labor of Jalisco launches a WhatsApp attention channel to resolve labor doubts, facilitating access to the necessary information and services.


New Labor Attention Line in Jalisco

The Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS) of Jalisco has launched a new channel for citizen attention through WhatsApp, called 'The Secretariat Resolves You'. This initiative aims to provide Jalisco residents with a fast and efficient way to resolve doubts and receive guidance on labor issues.

According to the National Survey on the Availability and Use of Information Technologies in Households (ENDUTIH) 2023, there are 7 million 118 thousand 480 internet users in Jalisco, of which 93.6% primarily use it for communication. Based on this data, the STPS seeks to eliminate access barriers and offer more agile and direct assistance through WhatsApp.

Through the number 333 238 4628, interested individuals can interact with qualified personnel from the Secretariat to obtain information on various labor topics, such as their rights and obligations, guidance on labor conflicts, procedures and services, and to find out the status of their procedure. The service will be available Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The implementation of this channel aims to streamline attention and significantly reduce inquiries that are currently made through traditional channels, such as phone calls and in-person assistance. Furthermore, it aims to decrease the need for users to travel to the offices of the Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare.
