
The Retirement Fund Administrator, Afore XXI Banorte, has invested more than 17 billion pesos during 2024 in initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality and improving the living conditions of women in Mexico. These investments seek to transform the social and economic landscape of the country, favoring female development through projects related to education, health, and financing for Mexican women.
An important part of these investments, more than 7,422 million pesos, was allocated to financial institutions that provide credits to working women in vulnerable communities, supporting their economic growth and the creation of their own businesses. In addition, scholarships were awarded to 5,638 women to facilitate their access to inclusive education, and financial education, entrepreneurship, and leadership training were conducted for more than 1,925 women, promoting their autonomy and leadership skills.
In the area of health and human rights, Afore XXI Banorte allocated more than 747 million pesos to high-quality medical services for women. David Razú Aznar, General Director of the Administrator, emphasized that they will maintain their commitment to work in favor of women's inclusion and empowerment, seeking to positively influence other companies and initiatives to extend collective actions that contribute to a more equitable future for Mexican women.
Afore XXI Banorte's investment strategy is based on promoting projects that respect and promote the fundamental rights of women, fostering economic growth, financial inclusion, and generating job opportunities for women entrepreneurs. Through their investments in quality educational institutions, they achieved that more than 79,051 women began or completed their technical, professional, and higher education training, directly impacting the lives of Mexican women.
