Gasoline prices vary widely across Mexico, with the cheapest fuel found in Culiacán at $21.99 per liter, while the capital city averages $23.85 for Magna. Consumers are urged to report excessive prices.


Gasoline Prices Fluctuate Across Mexico

Today, March 14, Nacional Gasolinero announced gasoline prices in Mexico. The average cost of Magna is 23.79 pesos per liter, Premium is at 25.66 pesos per liter, and Diesel has an average value of 26.13 pesos per liter.

Regarding the lowest prices in the country, the most economical gasoline is found in Culiacán, Sinaloa, at 21.99 pesos per liter; Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City, at 23.29 per liter; Chilpancingo, Guerrero, at 23.89 per liter; Zapopan, Jalisco, at 21.89 per liter; Othón P. Blanco, Quintana Roo, at 23.80 per liter; Mexicali, Baja California, at 21.43 per liter; and Toluca, State of Mexico, at 21.99 per liter.

In Mexico City, for the same day, the average price of Magna gasoline is 23.85 pesos per liter, Premium is at 25.89 pesos per liter, and Diesel is sold at 25.83 pesos per liter. The most affordable Magna gasoline is found in Venustiano Carranza, Calzada Peña and Peña No. 142, at 26.99 per liter.

The Federal Consumer Prosecutor's Office (Profeco) emphasizes that consumers can report gas stations selling fuel at prices higher than those established by the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE). To file complaints, one can access Profeco's website or contact the phone number 55 55 68 87 22.

Despite the decrease in international oil prices, gasoline prices in Mexico remain high, not exceeding certain limits. The gas station with the highest price is located in Coyoacán, on Avenida Periférico Sur No. 430, selling the liter at 23.49 pesos.
