The Secretariat of Welfare announced that the pension deposits for support for Welfare will not be made on certain days of May, including Saturday, May 10, Mother's Day. Ariadna Montiel Reyes, head of the Secretariat of Welfare, explained that the distribution of resources will take place from May 7 to May 30 directly through the Banco del Bienestar card, but there will be exceptions regarding the execution of the deposits.
According to the schedule established by the Banco del Bienestar for the bi-monthly period of May-June 2025, there will be specific dates on which the deposits of the Welfare Pension will not be made. Among those days are Saturdays, May 10, 17, and 24, as well as Sundays, May 11, 18, and 25.
This month, a total of 12.7 million people over 65 years old will receive the payment of 6,200 pesos corresponding to the Pension for the Welfare of Older Adults. In addition, 1.3 million beneficiaries will receive 3,200 pesos from the Pension for the Welfare of People with Disabilities. On the other hand, more than 1 million women beneficiaries of the Women's Welfare Pension will receive a payment of 3,000 pesos.
For the more than 163 thousand people enrolled in the Program for the Welfare of Girls and Boys Children of Working Mothers, economic support ranges from 830 to 3,600 pesos per child, depending on their family situation.
Payments for working mothers will be made according to a specific schedule, deposited directly through the Banco del Bienestar card following an alphabetical order according to the initial of the first surname. For example, on Wednesday, May 7, those whose surname starts with the letter A will receive their payment, while Thursday, May 8, corresponds to the letter B, and so on until Friday, May 30.
