With this investment, Nuevo León consolidates itself as one of the main destinations for the digital industry in Latin America.

The High-Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence Center will operate with scalable infrastructure and massive processing technology developed by NVIDIA, enabling applications in sectors such as advanced manufacturing, smart mobility, digital health, energy, and education.

The center's installation will begin in 2026, with its development projected in several phases until 2030, generating highly specialized jobs and opportunities for collaboration with universities, startups, and research centers.

The CCE, in alliance with NVIDIA as a technological partner and CIPRE Holding as a strategic partner, are carrying out this business meeting that positions Mexico and Latin America at the forefront of artificial intelligence, sovereign innovation, and strategic investment.

"Nuevo León is going to become the Artificial Intelligence Hub, and what better announcement than this historic investment of one trillion dollars in Nuevo León for the first Green Data Center," said the governor.

"Nuevo León is advancing to the future with what I will call the new paradigm of the green industry, which bets on artificial intelligence, automation, green energy, and that it is consolidated and begins in Nuevo León. For me, it is very gratifying that it will be during my six-year term that this new industry of Mexico's future begins," added García Sepúlveda.

The Governor also announced that due to the development of this industrial sector in Nuevo León, the Undersecretariat of Investments, Innovation, and Artificial Intelligence will be created.

The new center will operate under the NCP program, which certifies cloud service providers capable of offering GPU infrastructure and advanced computing for the development of artificial intelligence, data science, and high-performance modeling applications.

Governor Samuel García Sepúlveda announced the installation of the first High-Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence Center with NVIDIA technology, led by the companies AI-GDC and Cipre Holding, during his participation in the "Mexico IA+ Accelerated Investment" event organized by the Federal Ministry of Economy in collaboration with the CCE and CIPRE Holding.

The project led by AI-Green Data Center is the first in Latin America and contemplates an initial investment of 1 billion dollars over the next 10 years to strengthen the state's technological ecosystem and modernization through Nvidia, a company that designs and sells chips to companies that build data centers.

After giving the lecture "Nuevo León the Innovation and Tech Hub of LATAM," the state governor highlighted that with the arrival of the world leader in accelerated computing platforms and artificial intelligence, the State is advancing towards future technologies.
