These alliances represent one of the most relevant actions of the administration in the area of social development, strengthening academic training opportunities at all levels, from preschool to postgraduate. “This is one of the most important agreements for our city hall, because here people know that education is the basis for success. Today we take another step towards building a more prepared, fairer, and more competitive city hall.” On the occasion of the signing, representatives of the educational institutions emphasized the impact of this collaboration. The Finance Advisor of the Latin American Bar of Jurists and Experts A.C., Jennifer Guerrero Alzate, stated: “This agreement opens doors to the Benito Juárez City Hall in terms of scholarships for all its people. The scholarship is maintained for as long as the academic requirements are met, so we invite workers, family members, and residents to take advantage of this great opportunity.” For his part, the Director of Lottus Empresarial of the Universidad Americana del Noroeste S.C. and the Universidad Latinoamericana S.C., Edvard Pettersen Celayeta, reaffirmed his commitment to collaborating in the short, medium, and long term. “We are delighted to participate in this event, always in favor of training, development, and impact on the families and all collaborators who are part of the Benito Juárez City Hall.” Likewise, the Universidad Americana del Noroeste S.C. and the Universidad Latinoamericana S.C. signed specific agreements to grant discounts to municipal workers and their families. During the event, the General Director of Citizen Participation and Linkage, Juan Adrián González, highlighted: “It is a pleasure to be here, welcome to the signing of this agreement, an effort that reflects our commitment to education, to the well-being of families, and to the comprehensive development of our Benito Juárez community. Delighted to continue collaborating on short, medium, and long-term projects in training and technical skills development.” The scholarships contemplated cover from preschool level to bachelor's degrees in 52 areas, including Marketing, Psychology, Law, International Business and Finance, as well as postgraduate studies in Law, Administration, Leadership, and Corporate Tax Planning. With these actions, the Benito Juárez City Hall reaffirms its commitment to consolidate itself as a more prepared, fairer, and more competitive demarcation, promoting access to education as a fundamental pillar for individual and collective development, and strengthening the well-being of families. “But we also think about the general population of our demarcation, because education should not be a privilege, but a right and a tool for social transformation. We integrate people for their training, updating, and continuing education throughout Latin America. Today we offer benefits with additional discounts to study for bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, and continue their professional preparation. This agreement has a very clear purpose: to grant discounts and objective benefits to our workers and their direct relatives, recognizing the effort they make day by day.”
