During the Annual Assembly of Caintra in Nuevo León, Mexico's President, Claudia Sheinbaum, showed good rapport with business leaders by expressing certainty regarding the USMCA. 'These are major projects in which the federal government has collaborated in Nuevo León,' she stated. The President emphasized the importance of dialogue with the private sector. 'I want to take this moment, Madam President, to recognize your closeness and openness to dialogue with the private sector,' a business leader commented. Sheinbaum also announced an additional 1.5 billion pesos in investment for the construction of lines 4 and 6 of the Metro in Monterrey. The President stated that Mexico is advancing in its natural gas sovereignty and will continue to work on the digitalization of the banking sector. She also expressed hope for renegotiating tariffs imposed by the United States on automobiles, aluminum, and auto parts.
