Committed to innovation and technology, Governor Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda secured a new investment of one billion pesos from the company Hyundai Mobis, which will result in 250 new jobs for the entity. On his second day of work in the South Korean country, from the company's headquarters, the state leader highlighted the importance of this investment, as it is the technology development arm for automotive companies like KIA and Hyundai. "Today they confirm that they continue to expand, at least this summer they will invest another 50 million dollars in technology for autonomous vehicles and chips," informed the Governor. "This way we are constantly talking with the companies and that's why we have been securing investments almost daily and that this reflects in good jobs." The Korean company, with a presence in Pesquería, began operations with an investment of 430 million dollars. By 2025, the company had recorded accumulated investments of 695 million dollars in the State. Currently, it manufactures automotive modules, chassis and safety systems, fascias (bumpers), brake systems, airbags, front and rear lamps, as well as electronic components and battery systems as part of its electrification strategy.
