
During the third quarter of the year, Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte (OMA) reported a decrease of 5.2% in its net sales, reaching three thousand 703 million pesos (mdp), and a decline of 3.8% in its operating cash flow, totaling two thousand 435 mdp compared to the same period last year.
Passenger traffic reached 7.0 million, reflecting a reduction of 5.3% compared to the third quarter of the previous year. Of the total passengers, 86.8% were domestic and 13.2% international. A decrease of 7.4% was observed in domestic passenger traffic, while international passenger traffic increased by 10.8%.
Regarding passenger growth, the airports that stood out were Mazatlán, with an increase of 16.6%, and Durango, with an increase of 1.6%, across various domestic and international routes. On the other hand, the airports that showed the largest declines were Culiacán with 20.7%, Acapulco with 42.5% due to Hurricane OTIS in October 2023, and Ciudad Juárez with a decrease of 9.1%.
The consolidated net profit in the quarter was one thousand 385 mdp, registering a decrease of 2.1% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
