The National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) has inaugurated the Expo-Profesiográfica 2025 at the "Jaime Torres Bodet" Cultural Center in Zacatenco, with an expectation of over 38 thousand visitors. In this space, students can closely learn about the academic offerings of the 20 Centers for Scientific and Technological Studies (Cecyt), also known as vocational schools. The exhibition will be open to the public until January 26 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The academic secretary of IPN, Ismael Jaidar Monter, emphasized that the institution promotes an equitable community free of violence through initiatives such as the Defense of Polytechnic Rights and the Polytechnic Unit for Management with Gender Perspective (UPGPG). The excellence of polytechnic students in national and international competitions, research and innovation projects was also highlighted.
At the Expo-Profesiográfica 2025, 54 academic programs are presented, with schooling and non-schooling or mixed options in areas such as Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Medical Biological Sciences, and Social and Administrative Sciences. Attendees can take tests in simulators, participate in vocational orientation tests, and attend informative talks about the technical-professional careers offered by the institution.
Additionally, visitors are advised to register in advance using a QR code to expedite access to the expo, where both students and their families can participate. The general director of IPN, Arturo Reyes Sandoval, highlighted the importance of the Expo as a bridge between applicants and their academic future, reminding of IPN's mission to offer advanced technological education to contribute to the economic development of the country.
