Televisa has announced changes to its afternoon programming, stopping the broadcast of telenovelas at 4:30 PM to make way for reruns of the successful show "La Rosa de Guadalupe." Starting next Monday, January 27, two hours of reruns of this program will be aired from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and the premiere episode will be presented at its usual time of 7:30 PM.
"La Rosa de Guadalupe" is known for resolving situations through the intervention of the Virgin of Guadalupe, providing help to protagonists facing difficulties. This broadcast will extend to three hours daily, offering the audience the opportunity to enjoy its characters and themes for more time.
This change in programming means that the current afternoon telenovela, "El Ángel de Aurora," will come to an end this week, becoming the last production of this genre that Televisa will air in that time slot. The elimination of telenovelas at 4:30 PM aligns with the strategy to strengthen the airing of "La Rosa de Guadalupe," programming it for three hours daily.
Additionally, Televisa recently announced the cessation of production of new episodes of the show "Como dice el dicho," starring Sergio Corona. Although there has been no official statement regarding the end of this production by Genoveva Martínez, the last episode will air at 5:30 PM this Friday.
Entertainment expert Armando Bochinche reported via his YouTube channel that starting next Monday, February 3, Televisa will air three hours daily of "La Rosa de Guadalupe," consolidating its position as the most-watched program on the network. The airing schedule will be from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, offering reruns of this program that started in 2008 to its loyal audience.
