The school year is coming to an end and summer vacation is starting. Easter vacation will last for two weeks, from April 14 to April 25, and students will return to classes on Monday, April 28. In March, there will only be a break on the 18th in celebration of the Birth of Benito Juárez. It is important to take note of key dates for pre-enrollment.
The Secretary of Public Education (SEP) has published the calendars for entering 2nd and 3rd preschool, 1st grade of primary school, and 1st grade of secondary school for the 2025-2026 school year. The pre-enrollment period for these educational levels will extend from January 8 to February 14, 2025. Registration takes place on the pre-enrollment website, and it is necessary to have the student's CURP.
The online registration process follows a calendar based on the alphabetical order of the students' last names. From January 8 to 10, it corresponds to last names starting with A and B, going through the different letters until from February 9 to 14 it covers last names starting with S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z. Additionally, starting from May 6, 2025, the call for 1st grade preschool will be published, with dates for pre-enrollment from May 19 to May 29 on the official AEFCM page.
Regarding the school calendar proposed by the SEP for the 2024-2025 school year, dates are set for Technical Council meetings, delivery of evaluation reports, and suspension of teaching activities on certain days. It is essential for parents to be aware of these dates to organize themselves properly.
