The new season of MasterChef Celebrity 2025 in Mexico is about to begin and will stand out for being a format called 'Generations', where participants will be divided by age groups, but will be able to mingle later. Among the contestants are famous personalities from different fields such as actress Bárbara Torres, influencer Rafa Polinesio and comedians like Memo Ríos.
The program will once again feature judges from past editions such as Adrián Herrera, Alfonso 'Poncho' Cadena, and chef Zahie Téllez, who was kidnapped last year along with her husband. Claudia Lizaldi will return as the host and has expressed excitement about the new format of the show.
Although the official premiere date has not yet been announced, it is expected to be soon, as images have been shared from the famous kitchen and of the contestants with their aprons. Some rumors suggest that it could be on February 23 or March 30 on Azteca UNO. In the last edition, actress Rossana Npajera was the winner.
The contestants of this season will be grouped as 'The Classics' (Baby Boomers), 'Generation Cassette' (Generation X), 'The Millennials' and 'Generation Z'. All of them will face different culinary challenges weekly until reaching the final.
Chef Zahie Téllez highlighted the relevance of having contestants of diverse ages, as this will influence the way they cook and prepare food. With a diverse cast and culinary experiences from different generations, an exciting and talent-filled competition is expected in MasterChef Celebrity 2025.
