The event at the Panamerican University gathered more than 100 young entrepreneurs to strengthen business leadership and the entrepreneurial culture in Mexico.


Young Entrepreneurs of Coparmex CDMX Celebrate Leadership

In the context of a monthly session held on February 8 at the facilities of the Panamerican University, the Young Entrepreneurs Commission of Coparmex Mexico City, led by Marco Antonio Galicia López, brought together more than 100 young leaders, entrepreneurs, and businesspeople from nine university chapters.

During the event, Gabriel Aguirre, Vice President of Communication and Public Strategy of Coparmex CDMX, offered a keynote speech on business leadership and the role of young people in the economic transformation of the country. Jimena Cornejo, a recognized theater artist, led a Media Training workshop focused on the importance of personal branding and communication skills for the growth of new business leadership.

The Commission reaffirmed its commitment to the development of business leaders focused on the progress of the nation through the promotion of an innovative business culture and the creation of opportunities for Mexican entrepreneurs. Galicia López highlighted the importance of this type of meeting in the formation of young talent and the strengthening of the business ecosystem as pillars of sustainable and competitive growth in Mexico.

José Luis Jiménez Barrera, Vice President of Government Liaison of Coparmex CDMX, attended on behalf of the president of the capital's Business Center, Adal Ortiz Ávalos, who supports the backing of new generations. The fundamental objective is to consolidate the business leadership of new generations and promote an entrepreneurial culture in Mexico.

Additionally, the event featured the participation of Oscar Garza, founder of Journey Sports, an insurtech specialized in the sports sector, who shared his experience in innovation and the development of disruptive business models.
