Alicia Villarreal to Appear in Season 2 of Juego de Voces

The second season of "Juego de Voces", a successful format created by Televisa Univision, has been confirmed. In this reality show, famous singers like Mijares, Erik Rubin, and Alicia Villarreal compete musically against their own children. The first season was won by the team 'Los Herederos', composed of Lucero Mijares, Mía Rubin, and Melenie Carmona.

The first confirmed participants for this new edition are Manuel Mijares and Lucero Mijares, who have been announced through social media. Angélica Vale will return as the host of the program. In a promotional clip, Angélica is seen talking to Mijares and his daughter about the new season, with Mijares expressing his desire for revenge and his daughter joking that he never learns. Vale reveals that she will be in charge of forming the teams and announces that the premiere is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 9:00 PM on Las Estrellas.

It is still uncertain whether Alicia Villarreal and Melenie Carmona, participants of the first season, will return for the second edition. Villarreal is in the midst of controversy due to the news that she will report her ex-husband Cruz Martínez for domestic violence. According to reports, the complaint could be related to an alleged attempt of femicide, following an incident of strangulation she reportedly experienced.
