Preschool, primary, and secondary students will have the fortune of enjoying three long weekends in March 2025 thanks to administrative issues and the holiday for the birth of Benito Juárez. The first bridge will start on Monday, March 17, for this birthday, and both students and employees will be able to enjoy a day off or receive triple pay if they have to work.
The next bridge, on Friday, March 21, will be exclusive to basic education students as teachers need time to record students' grades in their report cards. Finally, the third bridge is scheduled for Friday, March 28, due to the Technical School Council Meeting conducted by the SEP.
Although Holy Week brings vacations for students, it is not a mandatory break for workers according to Mexican law. However, some companies tend to grant days off during Holy Week to their employees.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the SEP has established that there will be Technical School Council meetings on Friday, May 30, and June 27. Additionally, days have been scheduled for the delivery of report cards to parents, which will be on March 25, 26, 27, and 30, as well as July 14, 15, and 16.
