The norteña music, ballad, and cumbia group, Bronco, has announced the start of a tour in Mexico, the United States, and Latin America. In a recent interview with EFE, the band's leader, José Guadalupe Esparza, called on new artists to focus on creating 'beautiful lyrics' in their compositions.
"It's not difficult to become singers and songwriters; they just need to be authentic and touch people’s souls with beautiful lyrics," Esparza stated. Amid the popularity of 'mexa' reggaeton and 'tumbados' corridos in Mexico, the musician urged new talents to avoid compositions that are embarrassing to listen to.
Esparza emphasized that Bronco, with nearly half a century of history, is in its best moment. The group, known for hits like 'Sergio el bailador', 'Que no quede huella', and 'Libros tontos', has captivated the public with the combination of their experience and the freshness that his sons, José Adán and René Esparza, have brought to the band.
Regarding the new songs presented in the international tour, 'Tequilazo' stands out, a festive huapango from the north that addresses the current dynamics of romantic relationships developed on social networks. Despite their long career, Lupe Esparza admitted that he never imagined being on stage, let alone achieving success.
Bronco advised new artists to maintain their authenticity and focus on beautiful lyrics to create important stories through music. As an example of excellence in songwriting, he mentioned Armando Manzanero, with whom they collaborated on the song 'Adoro'.
Bronco's 'Dejando huella' tour will continue this year through Mexico, the United States, and Latin America, including countries such as Guatemala, El Salvador, and Colombia, as well as cities in Nevada, California, and Texas.
