The former governor of Puebla, Sergio Céspedes Peregrina, reappeared as a guest at the inauguration of the Puebla-Tlaxcala distributor. The project had an investment of 159 million pesos and was initiated during Céspedes Peregrina's administration. The current governor, Alejandro Armenta Mier, acknowledged the importance of the project and the work done by his predecessor, highlighting that during his term, projects worth the equivalent of 14 billion pesos were executed in just two years.

At the event, Armenta Mier noted that the distributor project connects Puebla with the neighboring state of Tlaxcala and emphasized that the project is part of the governmental transition. He also mentioned that this investment is comparable to the cost of the International Baroque Museum built in the past. The governor stressed that the ongoing projects would soon be completed, preventing them from becoming unfinished works.

In his intervention, Sergio Céspedes Peregrina thanked Governor Armenta for continuing the projects he initiated during his administration, without seeking the spotlight. Despite challenges in planning the works, Céspedes responded to criticisms by stating that the pending projects are part of a transformative project for the state and the nation, highlighting the importance of caring for the people's resources.

The Puebla-Tlaxcala distributor, located at the intersection of the Ecological Peripheral and the Puebla-Tlaxcala highway, has a length of 38 meters and benefits both entities. With three axes and seven merging lanes, it facilitates the transit of 25,000 vehicles daily and improves mobility in the region, benefiting 3.2 million people. This project also helps reduce congestion at traffic light intersections, decrease travel times, and improve access to the industrial area, as well as visitors from Tlaxcala.
