
Last Saturday, in Valle de Banderas, municipality of Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit, a tragic accident occurred in which a small plane crashed into a house. Two of the three victims have already been identified by state authorities. Benjamín Solano was recognized as the pilot of the crashed aircraft, while Indira Torres Arreola, a 20-year-old resident of San Juan de Abajo, also lost her life at the scene. The third deceased person has not yet been identified, but it is believed they were a resident of the house that was affected in the accident.
The tragic incident took place while the plane was participating in the Aerofest Nayarit Bahía 2025 event. Witnesses reported that the aircraft, with five occupants on board, lost control and crashed into the roof of a house on Libertad Street after hitting a wall and ending its trajectory over the terrace.
Emergency teams, including the Nayarit Fire Department and State Police, quickly arrived at the scene to carry out rescue operations and ensure safety in the area. Civil Protection transported three injured people to a nearby hospital, while the Municipal Police cordoned off the area to allow for the necessary investigations to be conducted.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact causes of this tragic air accident.
