The artist Maribel Guardia has made an unexpected decision to cancel her participation in an event in Tamaulipas, despite having been previously confirmed. Through a video statement, Maribel apologized to her audience and mentioned that due to current family problems, she would not be able to attend the work commitment.
In a turn of events, Maribel Guardia's daughter-in-law, Imelda Tuñón, reported on her Instagram account that authorities had returned custody of her child to the singer, following a temporary decision by the Prosecutor's Office. Maribel's husband, Marco Chacón, confirmed that this measure was provisional, adding that they are going through a complicated personal moment.
"I was really excited to be with you, hopefully one day I can be at that beautiful event," expressed Maribel Guardia in the video, leaving open the possibility of participating in future occasions. Other guests at the event in Tamaulipas included Bárbara de Regil, who did show up as planned.
Although the cancellation of Maribel Guardia's performance at the Mexican Festivals of Tamaulipas has generated surprise among her followers, it is expected that in the coming days it will be clarified whether the artist will be able to meet other work commitments, such as her participation in the theatrical play "Lagunilla Mi Barrio."
