The National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) has announced the opening of registration to obtain scholarships for the 2025-2 period, with amounts of up to 20,000 pesos. Through its social media, the IPN reported that the calls are already available, while many students still have questions about the requirements, dates, and types of scholarships available.
Registration will be available from March 7 to March 14, 2025, through the official IPN portal. The process consists of five steps for all scholarships at the upper secondary and higher education levels, which include everything from document uploads to bank account input, with a tentative payment date set for June 6, 2025.
The scholarships offered by the IPN for the 2025 period include the Institutional Scholarship, the Excellence Scholarship, the Cultural Scholarship, the Carmen de la Fuente Cultural Scholarship, the Sports Scholarship, and the Jacinto Licea Sports Scholarship, each with different amounts and specific requirements.
For example, the Institutional Scholarship supports students with a regular academic situation, with amounts ranging from $5,700 to $6,600 pesos, depending on the educational level. The Excellence Scholarship, on the other hand, is aimed at students with high academic averages and provides an amount of $19,000 pesos.
To apply for these scholarships, students must meet requirements such as maintaining a minimum average, participating in approved cultural or sports activities, among others. It is essential to register within the established dates and correctly upload all requested documents.
