Galilea Montijo Discusses Her Fall at Mazatlan Carnival

The renowned presenter Galilea Montijo has openly talked about the notable fall she suffered during her participation in the Mazatlán Carnival. In a parade that took place on March 2, Montijo was parading on one of the most prominent floats of the event, accompanied by her partner Isaac Moreno.

The event, which was proceeding normally, was interrupted when the host decided to descend a narrow staircase, causing her to fall down two steps. In light of this, Montijo expressed her gratitude for the support and affection she received from the carnival attendees: "I had an incredible time, thank you for all your screams, your love, your hugs. Five hours of parade, 10 kilometers. I leave very, very happy. My soul is filled with all the beautiful things I received yesterday."

Regarding the fall, Galilea Montijo mentioned that her boyfriend, Isaac Moreno, was present and managed to help her stop the fall so that it wouldn’t be dangerous: "I had my lord next to me who managed to stop me so that the fall wouldn’t be more dramatic." The presenter also shared a video explaining how she slipped down the stairs of the float and thanked those who were concerned about her health. Despite a little pain in her left foot, Montijo assured she felt grateful for having been part of such a significant cultural event in Mexico.
