The plot centers around a woman who, after discovering her husband's infidelity, decides to reevaluate her life and rediscover love and passion.
In the presentation of the series, Angélica Rivera, who plays the lead role, highlighted the importance of empowering women today, emphasizing the strength and ability to reinvent themselves that they possess. The actress also shared how special this project is for her, especially due to the participation of her daughter, Sofía Castro, who plays her daughter in the fiction.
"With That Same Look" is inspired by the telenovela "Mirada de mujer" and the original Colombian series "Señora Isabel". The story revolves around Eloísa, Rivera's character, who after 25 years of marriage decides to separate from her husband upon discovering his infidelity with a younger woman. The story aims to break stereotypes about love and sexuality in women over 50, advocating for their right to be happy and love freely.
In addition to Angélica Rivera, the series features actors such as Iván Sánchez, Diego Klein, Iliana Fox, Juan Ríos Cantú, and Jimena Herrera, among others. The premiere of the first season is scheduled for March 21, promising a plot full of emotions and conflicts that accompany the protagonist’s personal evolution.
The series will be broadcast on the streaming platform ViX Premium, initially releasing the first two episodes on the day of the premiere and subsequently two episodes every Friday, completing eight episodes in total for this season.
