
On the morning of Friday, March 14, the current governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García, led the graduation of the new generation of police officers who will join the Civil Force. Several state officials were present at the event to welcome the new security units.
In the opening speeches, the bravery of the cadets and each new member who will be part of Nuevo León's security was praised. During the graduation ceremony, Governor García offered some words: 'I am very proud of you and the new Civil Force. We currently have 5,600 members, and our goal is to reach 7,000.'
Furthermore, the governor highlighted the downward trend in the state's history, with a 70% reduction in homicides at the national level. He also called on the youth to help ensure security in the region. Following his speech, in which he spoke about the new additions to units and security infrastructures, García administered the oath to the new generation of police officers.
