The reality show Juego de Voces started its second season on Sunday, March 16, with great success, in which two teams will musically compete: the ‘Legends’, made up of Mijares, Lucero, Yuri, and Emmanuel, and the famous group's team, consisting of Lucero Mijares, María León, Yahiry, and Alexander Acha. The participants will compete in individual and group duels, being voted by the public for their favorite performances. The program will once again be hosted by Angélica Vale.
One of the main surprises of this season is the participation of singer Lucero in the Legends team alongside her ex-husband Mijares, having to face her own daughter, Lucero Mijares. For the first episode of the season, an emotional capsule was prepared in which Lucero has a nostalgic encounter with her inner child, recreating a moment from her past where she reunites with her childhood character from the telenovela ‘Chispita’. In the capsule, both Luceros ask each other questions about the past and the future, revealing that, despite having found her prince charming, Lucero remains dedicated to her passion for acting and music.
During the emotional capsule, the reactions of Yuri, Mijares, and Lucero Mijares were broadcast, who could not hold back their tears while witnessing Lucero’s encounter with her inner child. In the end, older Lucero asked little Lucero to take a ‘selfie’, explaining to her what the dynamic consisted of. The interaction with the younger version of the singer moved fans of Lucero, Lucero Mijares, and Mijares.
