The Vive Latino 2025 festival took place at the GNP Seguros Stadium, formerly known as Foro Sol, gathering more than 80,000 attendees during Saturday and Sunday. The festival, in its 25th anniversary, featured more than 50 artists from various musical genres, including rock, pop, folk, and banda, marking a milestone in the history of the music event in Mexico City.
Among the highlights of the Sunday shows was the participation of different artists. María José sang a song by artist Dulce, while Belinda paid tribute to Paquita la del Barrio with her performance of 'Rata de dos patas'. On the other hand, at the Música pa' mandar a volar stage, artists like Yuri and Napoleón delighted the audience with their hits, creating emotional moments.
On Saturday, the Amazon stage witnessed notable performances, such as that of Macario Martínez, who went from being a street sweeper to singing in front of thousands of people at the Intolerante Tent of Vive Latino. Additionally, Los Ángeles Azules, despite the recent loss of their father, delivered an emotional show for their audience, demonstrating their commitment to their fans.
One of the most anticipated performances was by Zoé, the iconic Spanish rock band led by León Larregui. For more than an hour, the band played classic tracks like 'No me destruyas', 'Paula', and 'Vía Láctea', as well as their latest hit 'Azul'. The peak moment was when Denise Gutiérrez from Hello Seahorse! joined them on stage to perform 'Luna', creating an unforgettable moment for attendees.
As a special initiative, Zoé decided to repeat their last song 'Soñé', urging the audience to enjoy the moment without recording with their cell phones, thus promoting a more genuine and authentic experience. This action, supported by Heineken, aimed to reduce the light pollution generated by mobile devices and allow fans to fully enjoy the concert.
Moreover, artists like Mon Laferte impacted the audience with shows filled with energy and passion, solidifying this edition of Vive Latino as an unforgettable musical event. The diversity of proposals and the quality of the performances set the tone for a festival that continues to be a benchmark in the Latin American music scene.
